Who is Sprayteq?
Founded in 2008, Sprayteq Auto Body Repairs is the brainchild of owner and CEO Johan Herselman, who wanted, through superior service, a high level of expertise and the integration of state-of-the-art equipment, to create an auto body repair service second to none.
With vast experience as a business manager in the corporate environment and entrepreneur with several years in the motor industry, Johan, always remaining hands on and at the helm of the business, has steered Sprayteq to achieve rapid growth and an impressive loyal customer base. This includes a healthy mix of servicing insurance industry, brokers (40%) dealership work (20%) and walk-in customers (40%) which limits exposure to any specific type of client.

Situated in the heart of the commercial/industrial sector of Stikland in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town, Sprayteq serves mostly the Northern suburbs but has a footprint throughout the broader Cape Town area.

We have qualified technicians including experts at panel beating and spray painting. All work is overseen by Johan and Operations Manager Prevo Naidu, and is subject to rigorous scrutiny. Johan Herselman
Owner / founder / CEO
Johan Herselman is the consummate businessman and entrepreneur, who has over the last 20 years equipped himself with a range of skills which enabled him to make a huge success of his dream enterprise – Sprayteq Auto Body Repairs.
Already equipped with a National Higher Diploma in Food Technology in 1994 Johan went on to achieve a B Com in Business Management from Unisa in 2005. His journey as a businessman and manager in many areas of commerce including Supply chain, Manufacturing, Sales, HR and Finance has been prolific.
The skills he acquired over the years that particularly equipped him to excel as a business owner and manager were business development, project management, budgeting expertise, team leadership and performance management, organisational restructure and change, and most importantly – customer relations expertise.
Johan has a natural eye for detail and is a hard taskmaster when it comes to ensuring perfection in the minutest detail of every repair, no matter how large or small. His natural ‘no-nonsense’ approach to business also endears him to Insurers, Brokers, Dealers and businessmen alike, who appreciate his transparency and effort to always offer the best bottom line without ever compromising on the end result.
Prevo Naidu
Operations Manager
Meticulous and also a stickler for detail, Prevo oversees all operations, large or small with an Eagle eye. Gifted with team management and motivation skills, Prevo ensures that all deadlines are met on time and that the end result meets and even surpasses expectations.
Prevo has an impressive business history with over 20 years of experience in logistics, operations, business development, and entrepreneurial ventures. With an extensive background in running companies in the panel beating and construction industries and a proven track record in hiring, developing and managing teams, optimising operations, and driving business growth, Prevo is the perfect candidate to oversee and manage the demanding operations of Sprayteq Auto Body Repairs.
His always calm and likeable demeanour belies his ability to rise to the occasion to handle any sort of crisis and go the extra mile to ensure operational efficiency regardless of any challenges he may be facing.
